The final products can be processed into rods, sheet, wire, tubes and etc Nb-50% Ti-50% has good superconductivity, it is used in superconducting industry. It is strong enough to be used in aerospace industry.Superconductivity plays an important role in the development of quantum technology.Superconducting products such as niobium titanium capillary tube have important applications in quantum communication and quantum computing. Nb tubes of OD 21mm is for MgB2 superconducting wire application. Niobium titanium superconductor is extensively used in magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) magnets for modern medical diagnosis.

Nbti 47

Nbti 47 is a superconducting material with specific physical properties. The niobium and titanium content of this alloy is 53% and 47% respectively, which is a common composition ratio of niobium titanium alloy. The melting point of niobium titanium alloy decreases as the niobium content increases, so the melting point of Nbti 47 is between pure titanium and pure niobium.

The density and strength of Nbti 47 are also between pure titanium and pure niobium. By adjusting the ratio of titanium and niobium, a material that is both lightweight and high-strength can be obtained. This property makes Nb53Ti47 very useful in applications that require lightweight and high strength. In addition, although the electrical conductivity of Nb53Ti47 is not as good as traditional conductive materials such as pure copper, its excellent mechanical properties and corrosion resistance make it a preferred material in some high-performance electronic devices.

Nbti 47 exhibits excellent corrosion resistance in chemical properties, including corrosion resistance in seawater, chloride, sulfuric acid and weak alkaline environments. This corrosion resistance comes from the ability to form a dense oxide film on the surface of the alloy, which effectively isolates the corrosive medium1. In addition, Nbti 47 can also maintain good oxidation resistance in high temperature environments, which makes it widely used in high-temperature industrial processes.

The dimensions of NbTi tubes could be very small and various. For example, the dimensions OD 1.4mm x wt 0.15mm X lg 1500mm, OD2.2mm x wt 0.22mm x lg 1000mm and other regular sizes. Some customers will do further process on the tubes after purchasing based on different applications.

Usually capillary Nb53Ti47 tubes outer diameter ≤3mm, wall thickness 0.1-0.3mm, length is 1m to 10m. Followings are several sizes that we had manufactured for niobium 53-titanium 47% tubes.
